Our aim
The Next Chapter Veterans Home, LLC aims for this website to be accessible to as many people as possible. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and continue to improve based on testing and feedback.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and meaningful headings
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and forms
- Visible focus states
- Text alternatives and labels for interactive controls
- Color contrast targets of at least 4.5:1 for body text
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion— complex motion is reduced or replaced with static compositions - Decorative artwork marked so assistive technologies can ignore it
Known limitations
Some immersive visuals (maps, scroll storytelling, hero motion) are progressively enhanced. If you encounter a barrier, a usable text alternative or simplified path should remain available. Known gaps: none reported at this time — please tell us if you find a barrier.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with modern browsers and common assistive technologies. Experience may vary on older browsers or uncommon configurations.

Please include the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you use if relevant. We will work to respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Crisis support
If you or a veteran you support is in crisis, use the Veterans Crisis Line: Dial 988, then press 1 — independent of this website’s accessibility features.
